Can I visit the apartments before committing?

Yes, it is absolutely possible to visit an apartment before committing. We will be delighted to accompany you during a visit by appointment. Please contact us by telephone to arrange a suitable time according to your availability.

What are the possible rental durations?
Studios: minimum stay of 3 nights
One-bedroom apartments: minimum stay of 5 nights
Two-bedroom apartments: minimum stay of 7 nights
Three-bedroom apartments and larger: minimum stay of 10 nights
What is the total price?
To find out the total price, you can either use our online booking tool or request a quotation via the contact form.
The total price depends on the length of stay, the apartment selected, and any additional options chosen.
A security deposit is also required.
Is cleaning included?
Yes, weekly cleaning is included. If you require more frequent cleaning, you may request it and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Are pets (dogs, cats) allowed?
Pets are welcome in our residences, provided they behave appropriately for communal living. An additional fee will apply per animal.
Do you have staff in each residence?
Our team manages several residences and remains available to intervene quickly if necessary. An emergency contact number is displayed in each apartment to ensure you receive assistance as efficiently as possible.
Are tourist taxes included?
Tourist taxes are not displayed in our online booking tool but are payable if you are not registered as a resident of the city of Lausanne:
CHF 3 per night per person, or
CHF 37 per month per person
Do I need to register with the residents’ registration office of the City of Lausanne?
This is mandatory for anyone staying in the city for more than 3 months. It applies to both Swiss citizens and foreigners.
This registration must be completed within the first 14 days following your arrival in Lausanne.
OK Logements can provide a certificate of residence required for these administrative procedures.
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, a security deposit is required, and the amount depends on the length of your stay:
CHF 500 for stays of 7 nights or fewer
CHF 1,000 for stays of 8 to 13 nights
1 month’s rent for stays between 14 nights and 6 months
2 months’ rent for stays longer than 6 months
When is the security deposit returned?
After your check-out, we will make every effort to return the security deposit as quickly as possible, provided that:
no damage has occurred (beyond normal wear and tear),
no items are missing or have been stolen,
all outstanding amounts (stay, taxes, extras, possible penalties) have been fully paid.
If deductions are necessary, OK Logements may deduct the corresponding amounts and, if required, request an additional payment.
Is there a written contract or only general terms and conditions?

For long stays, the signing of a rental agreement is required. This contract will be sent to you before the check-in date.

What is the cancellation policy?
We offer both a flexible rate and a non-refundable rate. The non-refundable rate is intended for guests who are certain about their stay and wish to benefit from a more attractive price.

If the flexible rate is selected, the reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 5 calendar days before the scheduled check-in date, at 23:59 (local time).

How can I cancel a reservation?
Cancellations must be requested by telephone or by e-mail.
Can the stay be easily extended?
We offer a paid Stay Extension Priority option which allows you to pre-block your apartment for an additional 1 or 2 months. If you decide to extend your stay, the amount paid for the extension priority will be deducted from the corresponding additional month(s).
You must confirm your intention to extend your stay at least 30 calendar days before the originally scheduled check-out date, by telephone or by e-mail.
If confirmation is not received within this timeframe, OK Logements cannot guarantee that you will remain in the same apartment or that an alternative apartment will be available.
Is the apartment exactly as shown in the photos?
At OK Logements, we offer a selection of apartments across several residences. The photos shown during the booking process illustrate a representative apartment of the selected category.
Please note that the apartment allocated to you may present slight differences, while offering equivalent amenities and comfort.
Is the apartment fully furnished and equipped?
Yes, all apartments we offer are fully furnished and equipped. They include a fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher), bed linen, and a television. The apartments are also tastefully decorated.
Is internet included and what is the quality?
All our apartments are connected to the Swisscom network and benefit from very high-speed Wi-Fi.
Is parking included?
One parking space is included for any reservation in the following residences: Valentin, Caroline, Cité-Devant and Grillon. Some parking spaces may not be accessible to large vehicles.
If you require a second parking space, please contact us. Subject to availability, it may be offered as an extra service.
Are utilities fully included? (electricity, heating, water)
Yes, all utilities are included so that you can enjoy complete peace of mind.
Is insurance included or do I need my own liability insurance?
Guests are recommended to have private liability insurance valid during their stay, covering any damage they may cause to the apartment, the building, the equipment, or third parties.
If no such insurance is held, the guest remains fully responsible for any resulting damage, loss, or costs.
Is the accommodation officially authorised for short-term rental in the canton?
OK Logements has specialised in short- and long-term apartment rentals in Lausanne since 1984. The company is committed to strictly complying with Swiss, cantonal, and municipal legislation.
If I rent with OK Logements, can I obtain a certificate of residence for administrative procedures?
Yes, if you are settling in Lausanne on a permanent basis, we may provide you with a certificate of residence.
Do you require a copy of an identity document?
To validate the reservation, a copy of the identity card or passport of all occupants/tenants is required.
These documents must be sent by e-mail to OK Logements before check-in. If the documents are not provided, OK Logements may refuse access to the apartment until the required documents have been received.
